Must I uninstall the demo version of HealthFrame prior to installing the purchased version?

Prospective customers are encouraged to explore HealthFrame and its capabilities by
taking advantage of HealthFrame’s 15-day, fully functional, free evaluation version.

The HealthFrame demo version is identical to the full product version - except for the presense
of a license key. So - when you purchase your copy of HealthFrame - there is no need to install
any new software. Just enter your license key.

If you ever do choose to re-install HealthFrame - you never need to first uninstall previous versions.
When you install a version of HealthFrame (demo or otherwise) - it will automatically uninstall
										    previously installed versions for you.

Additionally, the installer preserves any data entered during the evaluation period.

If I install HealthFrame’s purchased version will I lose the data I entered using the demo?

Your data will be preserved when you install the purchased version of HealthFrame.
If you are ever concerned about the possibility of losing your data, you should create a backup
of your personal health record (PHR).

your HealthFrame v2 license code. Or you can find your original purchase email and get the license code there.

Error 1935 when installing HealthFrame on Windows XP?

This is a problem afflicting many programs, such as HeathFrame, and Microsoft Office - programs that utilize
Microsoft's XML functionality. This issue is due to a bug with a recent update to Microsoft's XML parser
												and Windows Installer technology.
												For more information, see
1935 error by installing the latest MSXML Updates
                                            in Microsoft's Knowledge Database.

                                            If you see

                                            or

while installing HealthFrame, this is the source of the problem.

The good news is that HealthFrame 2.1's installer has built-in support to correct this MSXML corruption.
First reboot your computer, and then re-run the HealthFrame installer, and the problem will be
											automatically corrected.

                                    Error Ox800C0005 when registering HealthFrame?

Some personal firewalls such as Norton Internet Security 2005 will prevent HealthFrame
												from accessing the internet.
Product registration (Options/Register…) requires access to Records For Living web site,
so that we can store your registration information.

If your firewall prompts you to grant or block internet access, please choose to grant access.
Once you have configured your firewall to grant internet access to HealthFrame,
product registration should proceed without problems.

How can I use HealthFrame to track my child’s development milestones?

Can I use information that’s stored in HealthFrame with other programs?

Yes. HealthFrame can be used with a wide variety of other programs and software systems.
See the Export feature for more details.

How can HealthFrame help me track my medical expenses?

HealthFrame contains powerful expense tracking features, including summary reports, linking
and integration with visits, medications, treatements etc.

If I use HealthFrame to track many individuals’ health records, what happens with a backup?

HealthFrame Family Edition allows users to maintain up to 12 personal health records (PHRs)
												per computer.
This feature can be used to maintain a family's health history.

To create a backup, launch the HealthFrame application, select the desired PHR and click the "File" menu,
												followed by the "Backup..." submenu.
You'll then be asked where you want to save the file.
Later, you can always load a backup file: when HealthFrame starts, BEFORE you select a PHR, click on the "Load Backup..."

Backup files are compact, and can be password protected.
Each back-up only extracts data from the active PHR.

How do I carry my health records with me?

You should always carry your medical information with you, in a format that is
convenient given your personal lifestyle choices. You can carry your medical
records information in printed form or in a number of portable electronic
												devices.

Use HealthFrame to print the Emergency Card.
											    This will contain a
summary of your identification information, allergies, conditions, and
medications, as well as PCP, emergency contacts and insurance information. The
printed emergency card can be carried in your purse or wallet at all times.

For a planned medical visit (new PCP or specialist), you may choose to use
HealthFrame to print the Medical History Summary report. This is a more
detailed report that you can share with your medical providers.

A number of individuals attach USB compatible memory sticks to their key chains.
Others have personal digital assistant (PDA) devices with them, such as Pocket
PC or Palm OS compliant devices. It is convenient for such individuals to carry
computerized versions of their Emergency Card and/or Medical History Summary
with them. The easiest way to accomplish this is for users to print their
HealthFrame reports to a PDF file (a number of commercial products exist on the
internet that support PDF printer drivers). Once the report has been printed,
users can then download them to their memory stick or PDA. PDF files are
readable with Adobe’s reader (http://www.adobe.com) and are widely used in the
												internet for document distribution.
